THE GAME GIFT

The games

A game is played in one of these seven worlds. The world gives the enemies, the tool in your hand, the companion and the finish; the occasion gives the story, the prizes and the ending, and any occasion can be told in any world.

Every demo below was built by the factory for an invented person. They are the same games we would build for you, in the same ten levels, and the surprises start after the first one.

Snow Peak

the winter world

One day up a mountain: a snowy village at first light, deep pines and long blue shadows in the afternoon, the summit at dusk above a frozen lake. Snow imps, rolling boulders, frost vents, snowball pelters and a runaway sledge in the way; a shovel to swing; a penguin that toboggans beside you. Ten levels, and a lit cabin at the top.

Arrows move, Z jumps, X swings the tool in your hand, and C sets up hand control with your webcam. On a phone the buttons are on the screen, or you tilt it, or you put a finger on the game itself.
