An anniversary game about the years since

The story it tells
It is the anniversary.
The same day, another year on.
The table is laid
And someone is already there.
Sam and Alex stand in for the names you give us.
The anniversary game does not start at the beginning. It starts partway along, which is where the two of you actually are, and it runs ten levels to a place you have both been before. The person waiting at the finish is drawn from your second photograph, in the clothes you chose, and both names are on the title screen.
Any of the seven worlds can tell it, and you pick the art style and the clothes yourself.
What waits at the finish
The ending is what this occasion is really for. Your photographs come out one at a time in an anniversary frame, in the order you set, each with a line of your own words. Then your video, then the last thing you wanted to say. With the complete game they move a little before they settle, so a still picture from years ago breathes for a moment.

These are the words we start from. You write your own captions, your own closing message, and choose which photograph comes last.
Add a gift card
You can slip a gift card into the game as well. On the extras step you say what kind of card it is, where it is used, the amount if you want it shown, and the code from the card you bought, with a line of your own to go with it. It comes out after the photographs, in a sealed envelope the player opens, and the code is written on the card inside. Any card from any shop works, because you tell us which. The code itself is never put in the game: it stays on our website, and the game asks for it at the moment the envelope is opened, so a copy of the game gives nothing away. It adds nothing to the price.
