A Christmas game about getting home

The story it tells
It is Christmas Eve.
The house is full, the tree is up,
The dinner is nearly ready,
And Sam is still on the road.
Sam and Alex stand in for the names you give us.
The Christmas game is a race against the light. Ten levels of snow, cold air and a road that keeps going, with the house at the end of it and everyone already inside. Their name is on the title screen, the music is a Christmas tune, and the last level opens on the door.
Any of the seven worlds can tell it, and you pick the art style and the clothes yourself.
What waits at the finish
What is waiting inside is your own year. Every photograph you sent comes out in a Christmas frame with a line of your own words, one at a time, then your video, then the message you wanted them to read on the day. On the complete game the pictures move quietly before they settle, which is a good thing to watch at Christmas.

These are the words we start from. You write your own captions, your own closing message, and choose which photograph comes last.
Add a gift card
You can slip a gift card into the game as well. On the extras step you say what kind of card it is, where it is used, the amount if you want it shown, and the code from the card you bought, with a line of your own to go with it. It comes out after the photographs, in a sealed envelope the player opens, and the code is written on the card inside. Any card from any shop works, because you tell us which. The code itself is never put in the game: it stays on our website, and the game asks for it at the moment the envelope is opened, so a copy of the game gives nothing away. It adds nothing to the price.
